I started in photography as a teenager. The first time I looked through a zoom telephoto lens I was hooked. I took pictures for friends, the high school yearbook, I was the annoying kid with a camera at family functions. Then, at twenty one I ran away from home and joined the Navy to become a US Navy Biomedical photographer.
Many years, and miles and miles of film later, I find myself at a very good place in life for continuing to chase down the images I want to make.
Currently, my wife Leslie and I travel the country in our faithful Airstream ‘Hilton’ making pictures of famous and not-so-famous places, and the interesting people we meet along the way.
You are also as likely to find me in some obscure spot on a river with a fly rod, or at our campsite with my guitar in hand, as you are to find me with my camera on the trail.
All in the name of living our ‘bliss’ for as long as we can manage to travel.
